Certificate and Diploma of Justice
The School of Law of the University of the South Pacific (USP) has extended its two programmes for justice sector professionals in 2021:
- a one-year Certificate of Justice; and
- a two-year Diploma of Justice (comprising the Certificate programme plus a second year).
These programmes have been designed in collaboration with the Pacific Judicial Strengthening Initiative (PJSI).
They are sub-degree programmes designed for:
- lay adjudicators (for example: Village and Island Court Magistrates, Justices of the Peace and Land Commissioners);and
- court administrators (for example: court clerks, registry staff and/or judges’ associates), who will benefit from foundation-level legal training.
The programmes are set to Level IV of the Fiji Qualifications Framework.
PJSI provides scholarships to enable justice sector professionals to enrol in these programmes and JPPF extends that offer should funding not be available through PJSI. If you wish to apply for a scholarship, please contact us in the first instance to discuss your application.
See the Certificate and Diploma of Justice brochure for more information about the programmes.
